Seattle residents have gathered around the intersection of 4th Ave. and Olive Way and Stewart St. in downtown Seattle where an 80-foot sequoia is holding a man at the top while he refuses to come down. KIRO says he climbed up yesterday at 11 a.m.

“Its something else. Its an otherworldly spectacle that I have never seen in my career,” said the KOMO photographer shooting the livestream.

KIRO reports the guy has been up there for more than 20 hours.

“The man in the tree has thrown an apple, branches, pine cones and various other items at officers,” says KIRO. “Police say the man’s “precarious position” high above the ground endangers himself and others.”

A dude with goat and technicolor tie dye coat showed up to watch.
