Adam Chase has been named vp and GM of Scripps-owned Bakersfield ABC affiliate KERO.
Chase comes from Bakersfield’s NBC affiliate KGET, where he was the general sales manager.
“Adam has developed positive relationships in the Bakersfield business community and has gained tremendous leadership experience in his management roles,” said vp of station operations for Scripps, Debbie Turner. “He is ready for this new challenge to lead KERO and we are fortunate he can step into the job with so much knowledge of the market and a great understanding of what the audience wants both on the content side and sales side of the business.”
Chase was promoted to GSM at KGET from local sales manager in 2014. He started working in Bakersfield in 2000 with Clear Channel Radio.
