Scripps has named Brad Remington VP & GM of its Denver ABC station KMGH.
Remington worked at KMGH from 1989 until 1996 as managing editor and was named news director at FOX affiliate KDVR in 2006. Most Recently, he worked at KTVK in Phoenix, Ariz. as executive news director before coming back to Denver a third time as an entrepreneur. From 1999 until 2006, he was news director at St. Louis FOX affiliate KTVI.
“Denver is a high-profile market in the company, and Brad possesses the unique combination of management style, editorial judgment and knowledge of the local area to serve the community and to meet the needs of advertisers,” said Steve Wasserman, VP and divisional general manager for Scripps.
He will also oversee Denver Azteca station KZCO. He starts Monday.
