Bill Siegel has been named director of news strategy for E.W. Scripps Company.
The company said the addition was made to prepare for the merger with Journal Communications. In July, the two companies announced they’d merge, making Scripps the fifth largest TV station group with 34 stations in 24 cities, reaching 18 percent of the U.S.
