Western Nebraska CBS affiliate KSTF will be off the air for four to six weeks while it builds a new broadcast tower starting mid-September.
The Scottsbluff Star-Herald reports the construction will affect viewers watching KSTF with an antenna and for Charter Cable subscribers watching on channel 6 and 10.
“To build a new tower is a huge undertaking and to affect our viewers for an extended period of time isn’t taken lightly,” KSTF-KGWN GM Tregg White said in a statement. “However, we believe it’s necessary to improve our signal and position our station to better serve the viewers of the Scottsbluff-Gering area in the near future.”
