Scott Rates Named News Director at Eureka Station

Scott Rates has been named news director for ABC affiliate KAEF and Fox affiliate KBVU in Eureka, California.

Rates will also anchor as part of his duties. He comes from Bonten-owned sister station KRCR in Redding, Calif. where he was named assistant news director in March 2016.

A Bonten spokesperson told TVSpy Rates starts later this week.

Before joining KRCR, Rates was a reporter at KRON in San Francisco.
