Scott Pelley to Anchor ‘CBS Evening News’ From WBZ

Scott Pelley will anchor the “CBS Evening News” tonight from the WBZ studios in Boston.

Crews replicated the “Evening News” set in the WBZ newsroom. Preparations for the broadcast, which airs at 6:30pmET, have been underway for weeks at the CBS O&O, according to a statement on the station website.

Pelley is in Boston ahead of tomorrow’s WBZ Business Breakfast. He will join WBZ radio anchor Joe Mathieu in leading a conversation about the upcoming Presidential election, the economy and health care reform, according to WBZ. (Photo credit: Bree Sison, WBZ)
