Scott Nichols is joining Sinclair’s WSET in Lynchburg-Roanoke, Va. as news director.
“His past experience as a News Director in both NC and NY made him a great choice for WSET,” GM George Kayes told TVSpy.
The move was first reported by our good friend over at FTVLive. Nichols replaces Len Stevens, who left WSET in June.

Nichols starts at the ABC affiliate on November 7.
He was named news director at Bonten Media Group’s North Carolina stations WCTI, WFXI and WYDO in 2012 and has also worked at WETM in Elmira, N.Y.
