WHEC anchor Scott Kilbury no longer works at the Rochester, N.Y. NBC affiliate.
The Rochester Democrat & Chronicle reports Kilbury left the station last Friday.
“I’ve enjoyed my time at WHEC,” Kilbury said. “That’s the difficult thing about this business. You make friends and have to say good-bye. But life is about growth so I am excited to move forward. I love delivering and reporting the news.”

Kilbury joined WHEC in 2013 after working at KOLD in Tucson, Arizona for 12 years.
