Fox-owned KRIV in Houston has added Scarlett Fakhar as a reporter. She started at the station Tuesday. “We are very pleased to have Scarlett Fakhar joining us as a general assignment reporter from our sister station in Austin. She exhibited a great work ethic and hustle while there and we are happy to offer her this position,” said KRIV general manager D’Artagnan Bebel.
Fakhar was weekend morning anchor at KTBC in Austin–where she worked as Scarlett Greyson–and previously worked at KAMC n Lubbock. “Joining the KRIV team is an incredible opportunity for me and I’m excited to call Houston my new home,” Fakhar said. “I have grandparents and friends here already, and I’m looking forward to growing as a reporter in this wonderful city.”
