Sarah Plake is leaving Topeka, Kan., CBS affiliate WIBW to work at KSHB in Kansas City.
“I just want to say thank you for these past 3 years,” Plake wrote on Facebook. “Thank you to all the viewers and thank you to the incredible team at WIBW-TV. All I’ve ever wanted to do was help people’s voices be heard. When I think about all the amazing, sad, breath-taking, fun, and powerful stories I’ve had the privilege of covering – that’s a lot of voices.”
Plake started at WIBW in 2012. She moved to the morning anchor desk in January 2014. She told TVSpy she’s going to work as a reporter at the Kansas City NBC affiliate.
