KUSI photojournalist Will Giron was nearly hit by a jacknifing semi-truck while shooting a freeway crash yesterday.
The photog for the independent station was on a rain soaked I-15 shooting a one-car crash when the semi lost control and slid “within just a few feet of where Giron was standing.”
“I was out here shooting a previous accident…and next thing you know I hear some tires screech and this truck just all of a sudden starts skidding right beside me, starts jackknifing,” said Giron. “My whole life flashed before my eyes.”
