KGTV reporter Marie Coronel and a station photographer were injured in the aftermath of the storm that hit San Diego this weekend.

Coronel was reporting for the San Diego ABC affiliate live in Mira Mesa this morning.

KGTV news director Tiffani Lupenski told TVSpy the two were injured by a falling tree. She said she didn’t have any details about their conditions, “I’m actually headed to the hospital as we speak,” said Lupenski.

The San Diego area is still experiencing high winds after a storm dumped rain and snow over the weekend.

On Sunday, the storm caused power outages, downed trees, flooded roadways and prompted authorities to suspend play several times at the Farmers Insurance PGA tournament at Torrey Pines Golf Course. Wind gusts in Harrison Park in the mountains even reached 85 mph.
