KSAT reporter-anchor Bill Barajas is moving from San Antonio to another market in Texas to follow his family.
Barajas will join KPRC, the NBC affiliate in Houston, Texas. His father, Mike Barajas, is former anchor in the market and his cousin, Erik Barajas, is a current anchor at KTRK.
“I grew up around the news business and fell in love with it,” he told Chron.com in an interview.

Barajas has been at KSAT for six years. Prior to that, he worked at KRGV in the Rio Grande Valley.
He’s set to begin June 17.
