Sam Brock will join KNTV, the NBC owned station in the San Francisco Bay Area, next week. In his new role as a reporter, he will lead the station’s “Reality Check” franchise, analyzing politics, public policy and community issues for accuracy and honesty.
“We’re excited to have Sam join our team and bring a unique franchise to the Bay Area,” said vice president of news, Jonathan Mitchell. “We strive to bring our viewers a smart, sophisticated news product and Sam is the kind of journalist that will fit in perfectly with our brand.”
Brock comes to KNTV from WTVR. He and his 5:00 and 5:30 p.m. co-anchor Stephanie Rochon, were recently victims of an anchor reshuffling at the Richmond, Virginia CBS affiliate. The station brought in Julie Bragg from cross-town rival WWBT and moved anchor Lorenzo Hall from weekends.
