Sacramento Reporter and Photographer Escape Wildfire

KVOR reporter Lemor Abrams learned just how fast wildfires move while covering the Carr fire in Redding, Calif. earlier this week.

Abrams and her photographer had to run when an ember jumped the freeway and ignited another fire.

We’re safe now. Had no warning this blaze was even close to the road. The trees were on fire miles away. We stopped for some distant flame shots. And in a matter of seconds- this happened.
