Ian Schwartz says he’s joining Phoenix CBS affiliate KPHO as a meteorologist.
“I’ve accepted a morning meteorologist job with Wake Up Arizona at KPHO CBS 5!” Schwartz wrote on Facebook. “I’m very excited to work in my hometown and be closer to my family, but boy am I going to miss Northern California and the wonderful people I’ve met here.”
Schwartz was a reporter and weathercaster in Albuquerque, N.M. before joining KOVR in Sacramento. His last day at KOVR will be Wednesday, Dec. 23.
