Sacramento Fox affiliate KTXL had a new employee for a brief moment after Sacramento Kings head coach Mike Brown played reporter for a minute during a recent press conference.
Brown grabbed the KTXL mic to ask coach Jay Triano a question about a new bell in the team’s training facility.
“Mike Brown, Fox 40 News,” Brown said into the mic. He even tagged himself out by saying “Mike Brown, Fox 40 news.”
Fox 40 Sports Insider Sean Cunningham tweeted out a video about it.
“Sacramento Kings coach Mike Brown, is my newest @Fox40 co-worker,” Cunningham wrote on Twitter. “Here’s his reporting debut to tell the story behind the new bell in the practice facility. He went to the source: Associate Head Coach Jay Triano. Maybe Mike will let me sit in as an assistant coach now?”
