Good Day Sacramento anchor Ken Rudulph announced on his social media account that he was leaving KVOR-KMAX, the CBS stations in the market.

“Time now is 9:05 in the ‘PM’ on this Thursday evening. I bring you this special report. Effective Friday, October 26th I will no longer be a part of Good Day Sacramento & CBS13 Sacramento,” he said in a Facebook post on his personal page that now has close to 300 comments.

He thanked viewers for seven great years at the station, and simply said it’s time to move on and do something else.

“Something new and exciting. Also, a bit frightening but mostly exciting. I look forward to sharing it all with you very soon. Thank you to all of my co-workers and especially the viewers and my friends old and new, for 7 awesome years doing what I have always wanted to do, in my hometown.”
