CBS-owned WFOR in Miami has promoted morning anchor Rudabeh Shahbazi to evening news co-anchor, alongside Rick Folbaum. She begins in the new role Monday. WFOR reporter Lauren Pastrana will take over morning co-anchor duties.

“I’m proud to be able to promote two amazing journalists into these important roles,” said WFOR general manager Adam Levy. “Rudabeh and Lauren are both passionate about delivering on the CBS4 mission to serve our community so it’s safer, more productive, and better informed.”

Shahbazi, who only arrived at WFOR from Los Angeles in August, replaces Irika Sargent, who left WFOR for WBBM in Chicago.
