Boston Fox affiliate WFXT has announced the addition of Stephanie Coueignoux to its news team.
WFXT news director Lee Rosenthal confirmed the news with New England One yesterday. Coueignoux joins the station from WSOC, the ABC affiliate in Charlotte, N.C., where she is currently a reporter and fill-in anchor.
Coueignoux announced the news of her departure on Facebook this morning, writing:

I’m thrilled to be heading home to Boston & joining a wonderful team at FOX 25…but Charlotte will forever hold a place in my heart!
Prior to joining WSOC, Coueignoux was a reporter at Cleveland NBC affiliate WKYC.
She begins her new role at WFXT at the end of August.
