Reporter Scared Away from House Reportedly Flying Nazi and Confederate Flags

By Kevin Eck

WNEM reporter Nick Lulli was attacked while looking into claims a local house was flying both a confederate and nazi flag Sunday.

Lulli said the flags were gone when he went to do the story for the Saginaw, Mich. CBS affiliate.

In the video you can see him talking to a couple of women at the house from across the street. The women told him they weren’t racist and he couldn’t shoot video of the property. Then a man drove up, nearly hitting Lulli with his pickup.

As Lulli went to drive away, the man began hurling rocks at our news car, leaving these dings and a crack in the windshield.

And when he tried to physically get into the news vehicle, that’s when Lulli called police.

“I don’t know what he’s doing he seems out of his mind,” Lulli said to dispatchers.

WNEM says police are looking into the incident.
