Next week was supposed to be the last on the air for WPIX anchor Sukanya Krishnan. But, as TunedInNYC reports, the longtime morning anchor was let go after Thursday’s show.
Kala Rama co-anchored the three-hour morning show with Scott Sanford today.
As we reported earlier this month, Krishnan’s contract was not renewed and she was to leave the station May 26. Earlier this week, the station announced Betty Nguyen of NBC News and MSNBC, was joining as co-anchor of the morning show.
