They’ve been a staple in Sacramento local news for more than a decade.
The Sacramento Bee is reporting longtime ABC10 anchors, Cristina Mendonsa and Dale Schornack, will not have their contracts renewed.
“I can confirm that Dale and I have been given notification, and I have Dale’s permission to confirm that, but I can’t say a lot. I need at least a couple of weeks to figure things out,” Medonsa told the paper Thursday.
Mendonsa and Schornack have been at Tegna-owned KXTV for a combined 40 years, according to the station website. They have been co-anchors most of that time.
The report did not specify when their contracts will expire, or when the two officially will leave the station.
