Former CBS anchor-reporter Vinita Nair is heading to the KXAS the NBC station in Dallas, Texas according to Unclebarky.com.
Nair will serve as a special assignments reporter for the station on extended projects.
Unclebarky says the announcement was made Wednesday afternoon to station staffers. Her first day at NBC5 be on January 29th.

Nair was co-anchor of CBS This Morning Saturday with Anthony Mason.
