Rentrak Signs Another Scripps Station

By Kevin Eck

Rentrak Corporation announced it has signed Scripps Television owned KERO, the ABC affiliate in Bakersfield, CA to its multi-screen media measurement service.

“KERO-TV is excited to be working with Rentrak,” said Steve Weinstein general manager of KERO. “The ability to access demographic information on a daily basis (rather than just four times a year) is a significant advantage to us and our clients. KERO-TV is already using the information to impact our business in the Bakersfield DMA, and we look forward to more success in the future.”

Scripps initially signed up with Rentrak in August 2010 for its Detroit ABC affiliate WXYZ. In October 2012 Scripps added its ABC affiliates in Baltimore (WMAR), Cincinnati (WCPO), Cleveland (WEWS), and its West Palm Beach NBC affiliate WPTV.
