Renowned Photographer Anne Geddes Talks World Prematurity Day on WTXF

By Aneya Fernando

WTXF, the FOX-owned Philadelphia station, had legendary photographer Anne Geddes on “Good Day Philadelphia” this morning to talk about her partnership with March of Dimes, a nonprofit which “funds lifesaving research and programs and works to end premature birth, birth defects and infant mortality.”

Today is World Prematurity Day, and Geddes is in Philly to help unveil the Prematurity Research Center at the University of Pennsylvania. She also donated an image for March of Dimes, which will be in their new print PSA.

Anchors Mike Jerrick and Alex Holley created their own Geddes-inspired photo, with less than stellar results. You can see their attempt at ‘art’, plus plenty of teeny, tiny, babies, in the video above.
