Reality Star Fulfills Dream, Gets Hired as Meteorologist

Howie Gordon, a contestant on season six of CBS reality show Big Brother is back on TV, this time as a meteorologist at Joplin, Mo. ABC affiliate KODE.

Gordon introduced himself to viewers May 21 by talking about his love for camping, looking for bigfoot and feeding alligators marshmallows, “The alligators would sit there and open their mouth like a dog,” he said while mimicking how one would feed an alligator marshmallows if one were to do such a thing. “…feed ’em like a dog. It was really cool.”

According to his bio, Gordon’s worked in sales and “…has also dabbled in television acting, reality tv and managing event marketing tours…” He went back to school and got his meteorology degree from Mississippi State University in 2009.
