Raycom Promotes WVUE GM to Group VP, Names Replacement

raycom_304Sandy Breland has been named Group Vice President for Raycom Media.

Breland was named successor to current Group VP Leon Long, who retires at the end of January. Breland will be replaced by KFVS-WQWQ GM Tim Ingram as GM of Raycom’s New Orleans FOX affiliate WVUE.

Breland was named GM at WVUE in December 2013. She joined Raycom in July 2008 when she was hired as VP and GM of WAFB-WBXH in Baton Rouge, La. She had been executive news director at New Orleans CBS affiliate WWL.
