Wayne Daugherty, the executive vice president and chief operating officer of Raycom Media, will retire at the end of this year after 44 years working in television.
Wayne’s dedication and commitment to Raycom Media throughout the years has played a substantial role in the growth and success of our organization,” Raycom president and CEO Paul McTear said in a statement. “Although we will miss him, he has more than earned the right to spend more time with his family, friends, volunteer efforts, and hobbies.”
Daugherty has worked at Raycom since 1997. He has held his current position since 2006.
