Raleigh Station Welcomes New Anchor

Michelle Mackonochie has started working at NBC affiliate WRAL in Raleigh, N.C. as a morning anchor and reporter.

Mackonochie, who joined the station at the beginning of the month, came from WINK in Ft. Myers, Fla. She started her career at WBKB in Alpena, Mich., and has also worked at WMDT in Salisbury, Md.

Her uncle, Bill Diehl, is a correspondent at ABC News Radio in New York.
