Starting Monday, Raleigh viewers will see WRAL morning anchor Lynda Loveland on the CBS affiliate’s evening newscasts.
Loveland joins Gerald Owen for the 4:00 and 10:00 p.m. shows on Fox affiliate WRAZ and 5:30 pm. on WRAL.
“Lynda is well-known to our viewers as a talented, personable, and seasoned anchor,” said WRAL news director Rick Gall. “We’re confident this will be a smooth transition, and her presence on these newscasts will enhance them as we move forward.”

She replaces Jackie Hyland, who left the station in June. Loveland came back to WRAL in 2014 after switching to radio for five years. She had worked at WRAL for ten years before making the move to WRAL-FM.
