For the sake of expediency, let’s just assume the more conventional early morning newscast with which WBBM-Ch. 2 will replace the little-watched “Monsters & Money in the Morning” will fare better but ultimately fail.
Sure, it could be the biggest thing since “Camel News Caravan,” in which case this column can be shred into confetti for the ticker-tape parade. History, however, suggests Channel 2 should have its next plan at the ready.
