After a staffer with the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, who had been drinking, showed why we can’t have nice things and crashed a drone on White House grounds, President Obama added his voice to the call for drone regulation.
“I’ve assigned some of the relevant agencies to start talking to stakeholders and figure out how we’re going to put an architecture in place that makes sure that these things aren’t dangerous and that they’re not violating people’s privacy,” the president told CNN.
What do you think? Did the drone crash just make it tougher for TV stations to get drones for newsgathering?
