A power outage caused by the winter storm making its way up the East Coast knocked WPDE, the ABC affiliate in Florence, S.C., off the air last night, the station says on its website:
We lost power to the transmitter around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday and went to generator power. The generator is no longer putting out enough power to keep us on the air.
