Portland Anchor Snowboards in South Korea During a Facebook Live

KGWanchor and YouTube Vlogger Cassidy Quinn took Facebook Live to the next level while covering the Olympics yesterday.

She took viewers along as she snowboarded down a mountain near Pyeongchang, South Korea. Quinn told viewers she had three cameras on her, a phone, her Vlog camera and a Go Pro. She only used her phone for the Facebook Live she did while snowboarding at a local resort.

“This is playing and working,” Quinn said to viewers tuning in. “I’ve been shooting a segment, talking to Americans.”

Remarkably, she didn’t fall and after the run she answered viewer questions about the ski conditions in the area.

Quinn is covering the Olympics for the Tegna-owned NBC affiliate in Portland, Oregon and KTVB in Boise, Idaho. She replaced former MTV personality Brian McFaden as the station’s Live at 7 weekday anchor in October.
