Police have released security videos that show a WTNH-TV traffic reporter looking at jewelry and clothing inside a Sears store shortly before she walked out without paying for $105 in merchandise, police said.

Desiree Fontaine, 33, was charged with sixth-degree larceny on June 19. Fontaine told police she was a “freelance news reporter, and she was doing something on the side,” according to a police report.
