She told The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette she decided to leave the CBS owned station after her husband got a job in the Mile High city.
“It was kind of like the stars aligned in a way that it was a really good opportunity for career growth for me,” Wadas told the Post-Gazette. “When he got an opportunity too, to us, it was too much of a sign that we shouldn’t not take this because of how everything was lining up.”
Her last day at KDKA will be July 14.
