Pittsburgh News Set Wins PromaxBDA Award

Pittsburgh CBS-owned station KDKA won a PromaxBDA award for its news set.

The set was designed by Devlin Design Group which has won the Gold Award for set design three consecutive years.

“What makes this project so special is the team at KDKA and Devlin Design Group set out to capture the life and vitality of Pittsburgh,” said DDG. “A city once renowned for its booming steel industry, Pittsburgh’s downtown, dubbed the ‘Golden Triangle’, has been undergoing change for much of the decade.”

“We are thrilled to accomplish our clients’ objective in this project,” said Devlin Design Group creative services director Diane ‘DiFi’ Fiolek. “Team DDG is especially honored to receive the PromaxBDA Gold Award, and Newscast Studio’s Set of the Year trophy for our work at KDKA.”
