The major affiliates have launched anchors and reporters to Minnesota to cover the Eagles take on the Patriots Sunday. And thanks to technology, we can follow the journey beyond regularly scheduled broadcasts.
NBC 10 reporter Miguel Martinez-Valle went live from a plane full of fans heading to the Super Bowl.
WPVI reporter Mike Niklauski and his photographer Dan Sheridan drove to Minneapolis in a live truck. Video from their drive has received more than 46,000 views. They put together a behind the scenes video to showcase how they passed the time. It’s a lot of them singing.
FOX 29 profiled a super fan who spent his wedding money on Superbowl tickets. That video has received more than 21,000 views.
And the CBS owned station, KYW, did a two hour Facebook live showcasing a green light display in downtown Philadelphia. This received more than 17,000 views.
