Philadelphia Teacher Will Host Game Show on Fox 29

A Philadelphia area teacher will morph into the City of Brotherly Love’s Alex Trebeck this fall. Richard Curtis, who teaches 8th grade technology, will host a new game show on WXTF called ClassH-Room.

The show will pit local teachers against each other and test their knowledge in pop culture, math and other classroom topics. The winning team receives a monetary donation to the school club of their choice.

“As a teacher, I immediately fell in love with the unique concept of the show, where I get to shine a spotlight on some of the amazing educators and students in the Delaware Valley. We are going to have some fun!,” said Curtis. You may recall Curtis from his appearance on Live with Kelly, when Kelly Ripa had a series of guest hosts.
