Philadelphia Station Hires Two New York Personalities

NBC 10, the NBC owned station in Philadelphia, has hired two New York news personalities.

Dray Clark, who was a reporter for WABC and Steven Sosna, who was a weather producer for WNBC and fill-in meteorologist for MSNBC. Both are from the Philadelphia area.

“We are thrilled to have Steve and Dray join NBC10 and return to their hometown of Philadelphia,” said Anzio Williams, vice president of News for NBC10 and Telemundo62. “Both are extremely talented and demonstrate an unparalleled drive to provide viewers with reliable information through impactful storytelling and connecting with the community. They will be a great addition to our team.”

Sonsa will join the station’s First Alert Weather team and Clark will co-anchor the weekend morning show and report.

Sonsa was a reporter for KAAL-TV in Rochester, Minnesota where he was a weekday morning meteorologist. He started his career at NBC 4 New York recording local weather updates for NBC Weather Plus and was a freelance meteorologist for News 12 Connecticut and News 12 Weather and Traffic.

Prior to working at WABC, Clark worked for five years as a reporter and anchor at KYW-TV in Philadelphia. He has also worked at television stations in Cleveland, OH and Grand Rapids, MI. He launched his career in local broadcasting in Macon, GA, where he landed his first television job in 2000.

Sons starts September 18 and Clark on October 23.
