WTXF in Philadelphia is turning 50, so to celebrate the Good Day crew jumped into the wayback machine Friday to recreate what TV was like in the “golden days” of yesteryear.
“Hi. I’m a woman in the workplace so usually I’m condescended to and treated like a secretary,” said weather anchor Sue Serio, reminding viewers and dreamers alike, the good old days weren’t always so good for everyone. “You know, my counterpart in Baltimore here in 1965 does weather with a puppet,” she added.
