A Philadelphia high school teacher is making his second television debut, this time on his hometown station.
Richard Curtis, who teaches TV production at Souderton Area High School, first made his television appearance on Live with Kelly in October. Yesterday, he stepped in for Mike Jerrick and co-hosted WTXF‘s Good Day Philadelphia with Alex Holley.
“With an entrance like that – I better not suck, right? That was unbelievable,” said Curtis after two Eagles cheerleaders escorted him to the set.

Jerrick is back today to fill his regular co-host duties. Curtis will appear on the show throughout the week.
