Paulette Miller, a Well-Known Alabama Journalist, Dies of Apparent Heart Attack

Paulette Miller, a well-known broadcast journalist in Alabama, died Monday of an apparent heart attack while working at WHOG-AM, where she served as news director.  She was 53.

Before joining WHOG, Miller worked for 19 years as an anchor and reporter for WHMA (later WJSU) in Anniston.

In addition to her job in broadcasting, Miller was involved in a community project compiling and recording the oral histories of those in the Anniston area involved in the civil rights movement.
