Earlier this month Tribune named Paul Rennie the GM of its Chicago CW affiliate WGN after the previous GM was bumped upstairs.
Today, meteorologist Paul Konrad gave Rennie some tips on moving up the Tribune corporate ladder.

Konrad’s advice was to fix the night light in the napping room, get better bath soap for Tom Skilling’s pony, fix the WGN news vans and find the receipt for the WGN audio board so they could take it back.
Audio troubles in 2014 forced the morning anchors to communicate with viewers through handwritten signs.
