Paul Gerke Named Sports Director at KIVI-KNIN

Paul Gerke has signed on as sports director at KIVI-KNIN in Boise.

Gerke, who made his debut on ABC-affiliate KIVI last week, joins the station from WBKB in Alpeana, MI. He has also worked at WJRT in Flynt, MI.

“You grow up watching sports and then you get to a point in your adult life when you realize, you’re just not good enough to keep playing them,” Gerke joked on his debut newscast. “And that’s how this started.”
