After five years at KOVR, evening anchor Pallas Hupé is leaving the CBS owned-and-operated station in Sacramento.
Hupé, the anchor of the 5, 6 and 10 p.m. broadcasts, has been at KOVR since 2006. She is leaving to join her husband as he pursues a new career away from Sacramento.
“I’ve spent 20 years in broadcasting, and what a fitting way to cap off my career here in this wonderful community,” Hupé said in a statement. “This is an extraordinary opportunity to be with my 10- and 13-year-old boys while I still can.”
Her last day at the station will be Friday. KOVR is actively searching for her replacement, according to the Sacramento Bee.
