The folks at Good Day Columbus are basking in the glow of their hometown university’s National Football Championship.
The Columbus ABC affiliate’s anchor team made a bet with the anchor team of Portland’s ABC affiliate KATU over the outcome of last night’s game.
Because KATU’s Ducks of Oregon were defeated by WSYX‘s Buckeyes of Ohio State, the Columbus morning crew will get a box of VooDoo Donuts and have to wear Oregon Ducks themed gear on air.

“Well, Carol and Pete. We will honor our bet. VooDoo donuts will be on the way,” said KATU anchor Carolyn Bruck Natali Marmion. Though she pointed out they had eaten most of the donuts in the box she was holding. She then added. “We didn’t say how many donuts we’d send.”
