On the Move, 1/27/11

Brian Taff, reporter for WPVI in Philadelphia has been promoted to be the station’s 4:00 co-anchor.  Prior to WPVI, Brian was the host and moderator of “Capital Tonight” as well as anchor and reporter at Capital News 9 in Albany, NY.

Rosemary Orozco has recently joined KTVU in San Francisco as weekend meteorologist.  She’s a California native and was previously the morning meteorologist at KTXL in Sacramento.

Iain Page, who recently joined KPRC in Houston, has already been promoted to the noon and 4:00 weekday slot.  Prior to KPRC Iain was a host for The Golf Channel, as well as ESPN, and a former lawyer for the SEC.

Lisa Spooner is the new morning anchor at WFTX in Ft Myers.  Lisa spent the last four years as a main and morning anchor at KYTX in Tyler, TX.

Keli Fulton was recently named noon anchor and reporter for WPTV in West Palm Beach.  She is very excited to focus on news full time. She moves to West Palm from WDSU in New Orleans where she worked as a news and sports anchor/reporter.

Chris Glorioso has joined WNBC to be an investigative reporter.  Chris moved to NBC from WPIX in New York where he filed investigative reports for Emmy award-winning “Fact Finders”

Kristi Capel will be joining WJW in Cleveland to be a meteorologist and reporter.  Kristi spent the last few years as the morning meteorologist at WBRE.

Brian Anderson will call select college basketball games for The Big Ten Network this Winter.  Brian is the TV Voice of the Milwaukee Brewers and one of Turner Sports’ lead baseball announcers on TBS.

Shirleen Allicot, reporter for WPVI in Philadelphia has been promoted to be the station’s 4:00 co-anchor.  Prior to joining WPVI, Shirleen was a weekend anchor and reporter at News 12.

Christie Johnson is the new morning reporter for KING 5 TV in Seattle.  Christie is a Canada native who most recently was an In-Studio Commentator for the IOC’s Olympic BroadcastService during the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.

Brevin Knight is the new TV Analyst for the Memphis Grizzlies broadcasts on FSN South.  The Grizzlies are one of nine teams Brevin played for during his 13yr. NBA career.  Brevin was drafted with the 16th Pick of the 1997 NBA Draft out of Stanford.

Former St. Johns Red Storm Basketball Coach Norm Roberts joins SportsNet NY (SNY) as a Big East game and studio analyst.  Norm coached St. Johns from 2004-2010.

Former University of Vermont Basketball Coach Tom Brennan will be the co-host of “College Basketball Today” on Sirius/XM College Sports Nation (Sirius Channel 122, XM Channel 143).
